Meet Two of Our Annual Benefit Host Committee Members

Uncategorized / April 7, 2023 by Jordyn Hester

With our Annual Benefit quickly approaching, we want to introduce you all to members of our Host Committee!

Danata Andrews is a mom, yoga, and meditation practitioner, and the Vice President of Client Development at inQUEST Consulting. She currently serves on EverThrive Illinois’ Board of Directors and has a personal connection to our mission and our work in Birth Equity. “My birth story is quite traumatic and alarming. My experience is all too common among Black and Brown women. I want to change that.” Danata decided to be a part of this year’s Host Committee because she wants to help secure the funds to support EverThrive Illinois’ efforts toward health equity. At our Annual Benefit, she looks forward to connecting with people, enjoying good food, and hearing people’s stories. “Seriously, the stories are what bring the organization’s mission to life. EverThrive Illinois’ work is impacting real people every day. I hope these stories will resonate with attendees and that the call to action is clear – we need your support, so we can continue to give voice to the community and make Illinois stronger and better.”

Loretta Lattyak is a founding board member of EverThrive Illinois. She previously worked for Loyola Perinatal Center and coordinated their relations with community hospitals in West Cook and DuPage counties. She’s also worked with other perinatal centers across the state. Her work with these centers drove her to support EverThrive Illinois because their goals aligned with hers. “Supporting a nonprofit promoting women’s and children’s health was a way to have a voice in changes that needed to be made locally, statewide, and nationwide. It also helped eliminate conflict of interest issues when seeking increased services funding.” At the Annual Benefit, she looks forward to celebrating EverThrive Illinois’ hard work and collaboration with community and government partners and their successes.
