EverThrive Illinois Launches Our 2025-2026 COVID-19 and Flu Campaign

Covid-19, Immunizations / November 5, 2025 by Jordyn Hester

EverThrive Illinois is starting our COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination campaign for the 2025-2026 respiratory season. As a Champion for Health, we are here to help adults, parents, caregivers, and pregnant individuals understand the importance of getting vaccinated and the steps they can take to protect their health and the well-being of their loved ones.

It has been a priority at EverThrive Illinois to raise vaccine confidence in the community. In this political climate, making sure people are well-informed is extremely important. “Our hope is that our COVID-19 and Flu campaign helps avoid further confusion around vaccination guidelines and eligibility and shares a unified message that builds trust in the public health guidance provided by our State to protect our communities”, says Stephanie Romero, EverThrive Illinois’ Health Promotion Manager. Stephanie and EverThrive Illinois’ Capacity Building Director, Kristen Nuyen, are the leaders of this campaign. “Now more than ever, it is important that we all have strong unified messaging not only to debunk the misinformation and disinformation circulating in our communities and on social media, but also to rebuild trust with our communities and help them understand who they can rely on for accurate, reliable, science-backed information.”

We want people to feel comfortable enough to make informed decisions about their own health and to help protect their loved ones and fellow community members. Vaccines strengthen the body and reduce the spread to others, and with people being in close contact, vaccines can help protect the most vulnerable populations (babies, children, seniors, and those with pre-existing health conditions). Getting vaccinations also helps protect against more serious outcomes, such as hospitalization and death.

Visit our website for helpful information and to find a vaccination location in your area. This season, stay informed and stay healthy!
