NEWS FROM THE Immunization Initiative

National Infant Immunization Week is this April 22 - 29, and the CDC along with communities across the U.S will highlight the importance of protecting infants from vaccine-preventable diseases and celebrate the achievements of immunization programs in promoting healthy communities throughout the United States. EverThrive IL's Immunization Initiative will help promote NIIW through social media and community outreach.

The Immunization Initiative is a broad-based coalition of public and private sector organizations working together to increase immunization rates and prevent diseases over the life span by promoting the delivery of safe, effective, and timely immunizations.
