Supporting the Reproductive Health of Women Living with and Vulnerable to HIV

This interactive presentation will discuss the key role providers play in facilitating supportive reproductive health care and safer conception for women living with and vulnerable to HIV. Participants will learn about new options in HIV prevention, including pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), viral suppression, and female condoms. Participants will come away with practical resources, able to effectively engage clients and/or patients in conversations about sexual practices that support effective HIV prevention. This presentation will increase participants’’ understanding of factors that influence HIV-vulnerability and help them integrate the latest information on HIV prevention options into counseling and care.
