Robin Hannon is currently the Director of Personal Health Services at St. Clair County Health Department. She has practiced maternal child health nursing for over thirty seven years and public health nursing for the last twenty four years.
Robin completed her basic nursing education at Deaconess School of Nursing in St. Louis, Missouri and her BSN and MSN in public health from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville with a research interest in the relationship between racism and birth outcomes.
Robin completed the University of Illinois Maternal Child Health Leadership Institute and has served as Secretary of the Illinois Public Health Association Maternal Child Health Section, as President of the Illinois Public Health Nurse Administrators and is currently the Southern Illinois Section Director. She has been active with the Illinois and Missouri March of Dimes and EverThrive of Illinois since the early 1990’s.
Robin and her husband live in Belleville and have four children and three grandchildren.
