Mainza Lukobo-Durrell is a Public Health Professional with 10 years of experience in developing, planning, implementing, managing, monitoring, evaluating and researching Public Health programs. Mainza has served as Director for HIV/AIDS Research and Policy Institute in at Chicago State University and currently serves as a Senior Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor for Jhpiego, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, where she collaborates with teams of program staff, in-country stakeholders and public and private donors on successful evidence-based HIV/AIDS prevention programs in 11 countries in East and Southern Africa. She is also the co-founder and Principal Consultant of EMD Public Health Consultants and has provided consulting services to public health organizations in Chicago. A wife and mother of two, she is passionate about healthy communities and strong public health systems and this drives her to understand the health needs of the community and develop and implement programs that are successful and sustainable.
